Q: I installed Heybaby to my handheld but the
baby name database doesn't have any names listed.

A: It's likely that you do
not have enough available memory. Please make sure you have at least
450Kb of available RAM. After freeing up some additional memory install
the BabyNDB.pdb to your handheld and the name database should now be
available.
ReDirector for PalmOSŪ Support

Q: Can I use
my existing high-speed Internet connection with ReDirector for PalmOSŪ?

A: Not directly. ReDirector for PalmOSŪ was designed to
allow serial to serial communications, serial to printer communications or
serial to clipboard communications. You may find other solutions on
PalmGear H.Q. to allow
your HotSyncŪ cradle to function as a gateway (Router) to your existing internet
connection.
Q: Why is USB Not supported in ReDirector for PalmOSŪ? (Back
to ReDirector support)
A: ReDirector for PalmOSŪ was developed as a means of redirecting
serial calls between two COM ports. Providing a software solution to link
the HotSyncŪ cradle to your Desktop computer's Modem. USB does not
allocate an actual COM Port but is actually a much lower-level form of
communications. ReDirector for PalmOSŪ was not designed for this purpose
in mind.
Q: I have a device that communicates via USB (Handspring
product, Sony, Palm m50x), but I would like the ability to use ReDirector for
PalmOSŪ! Are there any options for me?

A: Yes! There are several options available for adding
an IrDA connection to your desktop computer. One such solution that may
work for you may be found
here.
Remember, you must also have a modem also installed on your computer
9600,14.4/19200, 28.8 or 56k (No CABLE/DSL Modems are supported with ReDirector
for PalmOSŪ)
