That's Right, it's BINGO
Night. The following pictures are from a birthday party that
was the first known BINGO event featuring our Family BINGO product . There were several BINGO games played at this party and
everyone had a really great time. There were about 30 participants
complete with prizes and fun for all.
Printing the cards from the PC meant everyone could join in.
This is one of the best uses of our PocketPC! Kids and adults had a great
time playing and picking out their prizes. When playing we recommend you
start with a straight BINGO, then four corners and then a coverall. This
worked out best for us and lets you play longer using a single set of cards.

In the image to
the left we have an iPAQ h1910 connected to a set of external speakers
(battery powered). This worked great for a REALLY LOUD BINGO
experience. The BINGO calls could be heard by everyone within approx.
70ft. This is significantly cheaper than those $4000+ BINGO machines
we saw on the internet (Click
here for an example). In fact, Family BINGO has an edge, in that
you don't need a person sitting there to call the letters & numbers!
If you are interested in a similar setup, the speakers
were purchased directly from Radio Shack (Catalog
Number :
40-1430). You may need an adapter between the speakers and your
PPC depending on the model you own. |

In
this picture we see the experts in action. In fact, the little lady to
the left won most of the games that evening! Needless to say, she
racked up on the bubble gum and toys!

** WARNING **
Just be sure you don't set the timer delay too long
(around 8-10 seconds worked well for us).
You don't want any of your BINGO players waiting too
long before each BINGO call.
